Yes and no. ECMA is unique in that while there are some great existing programs the ECMA project is very comprehensive and represents a new era in the training, education, and development of Christian/Gospel music artists. ECMA provides the opportunity to maximize an artists capabilities while recognizing their individual initiative. Engaging in this specialized ECMA program positions artists for improved successes and postures ECMA as a leader in the Christian/Gospel music industry.

What can artists/participants expect from ECMA?

The ECMA process has been designed to provide a comprehensive Christian-based music industry training program for each candidate and their management team. Candidates are nominated based on their involvement in the educational training sessions provided and / or recommended by the ECMA committee. Successful nominees must complete educational training sessions in the areas of stage presence, vocal technique, public speaking, media relations, career management, marketing, distribution, studio technique, and radio promotion. After receiving educational training, nominees will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge by implementing the strategies learned in their individual ministries or within their music careers.
